In Fall 2018, I was the recipient of the Financial Services ISAC Building Cybersecurity Diversity award. This award was meant to recognize students for their dedication to cybersecurity, and promote a diverse workforce. I was honored to receive the award, and to meet with an amazing mentor throughout the fall. As part of the award, I was able to attend the FS-ISAC Fall Summit, where I met the other incredible recipients, listened to inspiring talks about new technology, and learned much more about the applications for cybersecurity in the financial services industry.
